I broke down a small saltwater setup a while ago and would like to set it up again as a freshwater tank. I have a Aquaclear 200 power filter, 2 pengiun powerheads, heater... would I need any other equipment to get it going... Thanks.

No real equipment, but you'd probably want different substrate and decorations. Crushed coral isn't used in most FW tanks--it hardens the water considerably. For many cichlids, this is fine, but not for common community fish.
Make sure to rinse everything very well to remove any salt, and you should be good to start cycling the tank.

That part i've done. Ive already washed everything really good, and have purchased new substrate and fake plants for now but i was just curious if i could use my other equipment. should i still use the powerheads.

The powerheads can be used in a FW tank, but it will depend on what fish you want. some fish prefer lots of current, while other like it calm.
