Melafix and Maracyn Plus together?

I have a blue peacock cichlid in a hospital tank, for what appears to be maybe fin rot, and/or some fungus. Maracyn Plus is a new liquid broad spectrum antibiotic by Mardel.

Is it advisable to also put Melafix in, or should I just do one or the other?

i have never tried the maracyn plus. but i have tried maracyn 2. i would jsut stick with the melafix for fin rot it does an excellent job, i always treat with melafix first since it is a very good medication adn is more natural than most other meds out there, since it is based from the tea tree.

I also would use the melafix first and I have had good results using it for fin rot and fungus.

I am treating my fish for ich right now and I was wondering if I could use Melafix and Maracide together.

I have done so on more than one occasion, certainly did not appear to harm the fish or the effect the Maracyn/Maracyn 2 had, IME. Can't give you a positive answer on the Maracyn Plus as the forms I have always dealt with were tablets.
