I’ve got a bare bottom tank for my gold fish and I’m looking for tank decorating ideas. Anyone have a pics of their bare bottom tanks?
Thanks,
John

I don't have any good pics, but I have a bare bottom tank for my frog. I found some attractive glazed pots, and use them for bog plants. I can't recall who, but I know one member used granite tile to cover the bottom, and then added some pots and such--it looked really nice.

Plants attached to driftwood with fishing line- when I siphon I can shove them around to get underneath without fear of breaking glass. It is a great way to go.

I have a growout tank with no substrate. There is a dwarf lotus and Mexican oak leaf in a "pot" (some might call it a pint yogurt container), plus some small java fern I'm growing out, stuffed into the crevices of ancient dead coral. Fortunately, immature platies seem to have no aesthetic sense. I get the idea you want attractive ideas, so I won't bother posting a picture.
