Aequiden Maronii, grows to about 4inches, from Guianas, farily peaceful for it's size, females have less developed dorsal and anal fin, not too difficult to breed. What else??

Where I live you don't see them in the stores that often. I would like to purchase a few myself. Has anyone ever order from mail? I'm a little afraid to.

30% of my fish, 50% of my plants, 75% of my Live Rock, 30-50% of my dry goods (filters, food, ect) are mail order. No complaints yet. Just have not ordered any coral from mail yet. Like to see coral 1st hand.
Go ahead, should be OK.
dunno much about them other than i just bought one today. i know they are a lesser aggresive cichlid, they are south american so prefer soft and slightly acidic water, they grow to aprox 4 1/2 inches, feel more secure as a pair. im sure ill learn more about them in the near future.
