I appreciate any help/advice.
I have been keeping 2 H. bimaculatus (H. guttata?) separately, but thought I would give them one last try together. (I can only have so many tanks - and 2 tanks for 2 fish didn't seem very efficient!)
The tank was new to both of them, with a lot of pots and a few plants and rocks to break it up.
They've spent a lot of time mouth-to-mouth - I think biting and pushing on eachother. SO - is this aggression that is going to hurt them, or is it possibly a precurser to mating?
