My planted tank has 16 Rasbora hets, a few SAEs, several Otos and quite a few Amano and Cherry shrimp. I would like to add my adult Rainbows (Red, Turquoise, Boesmani) to the planted tank. But I'm worried about them eating the shrimp. Thoughts?

My thoughts are you posted this in the wrong section. It's not a plant question and sorry I have no idea if rainbows will eat shrimp.
Dwarf Neon Rainbows and Amano shrimp co-exist okay for me. I have no combo experience with larger Rainbows and smaller shrimp (such as the Cherry Reds), so can'y say.
But this is a planted tank question, so for me it is in the right place.

I know my Bosmani, Trifisciada (sp), just love ghost shrimp, they look funny trying to choke them down but they do love them:D

Thanks for the responses. If rainbows love ghosts, I'm sure not going to experiment with Cherry shrimp.
