Frozen Shrimp squares

Hey, I got some frozen mysis shrimp and I cut off a small piece and put it in a cup with some tank water, Then I try to cut it up with a butter knife or something to try to get it into smaller pieces but when I feed it to my clown it is still mostly too big for him to eat. He's a pretty small clown currently. And he won't really move around yet much after the food since he's still getting used to the tank. Does anyone have any ideas or anything they do to get the shrimp into smaller pieces? Thanks!

You might try some flake food. Does he try to eat at all?

You could try some cyclop-eeze. I prefer to work with frozen instead of freeze dried. A little goes a long ways. For the myssis, cut it while it's still frozen.

yeah, I'm pretty much only feeding him flake for now. He likes it, though i'd like to varry his diet and he seems to be getting a little more comfortable moving around now!
