One of my Dwarf Gouramis has been hard at work. Too bad he doesn't have any females to participate with him.

Pardon the green water, and the somewhat crappy pics:

From the top (he spits floating bits of plants into the middle of the nest, it was about an inch or so tall)...

The pics were taken during a water change...so the nest is gone now.

ENJOY!

Great pics joe! It's always exciting when fish do stuff like that. Too bad the poor guy is alone. :p

To me, it's a sign that maybe I'm doing something right. Even if I can't get rid of the green water.....yet (UV's on it's way  ).

What exactly causes that green water? plants? ect?

Never had either...

Fertilizers, nutrients, bright light. Any one or combination of those. No one can really say exactly what the cause is...and since I don't know a dang thing about plants...I'll just throw some equipment at it (the UV sterilizer) and fix it in 24 hours. I'm getting tired of the good-for-mother-earth treat-it-with-TLC version of fishkeeping. :D

lol....yeah....why don't you get a female dwarf and let them have some babies? that would be cool.
