Plants won't stay down?

What do you do about plants that won't stay planted? I have a couple of new swords that have very short roots on them. There isn't enough root to keep them in the substrate. I have a couple of plant weights wrapped around their base right now and it is holding them down.

Any problems with using the plant weights? Any better solutions? Obviously once the roots get long enough I will pull them off....

The plant weights should be fine until the plants develop some roots. Just don't wrap them around the base of the plant too tight.
