I have read numerous pages on fish eating meat. Oscar will eat beef heart. Another one will eat liver. How do I go about preparing these?? I would like to know for future reference, thanks!

you can buy frozen beef heart cut into chunks at any LFS.

however if you want to prepare it yourself then simply cut it into bitsize chunks. Make sure you leave as little fat as possible.

Well I used to, and will be again soon, get a whole beef heart and just use a grater and grate it, semi defrosted works best. I'm thinking of adding some greenage to it and mash it up aswell.

But Beef heart goes well....as said before, try not to get any fat on them, cause its extreamly hard for fish to digest it. I would even go far as to say they cannot digest it, and will be sick because of it.

But the lfs have some good stuff, like brine shrimp and the packets of blood worm and even feeder gold fish :D
