What plants should I add?

I would like some input for adding some plants to this 38g setup-specifically in the middle area...
Unfortunately, the light is a T5 42w coralife-so I will have to get low light plants for now...
I hopefully will be adding DIY C02 in the next couple of weeks...

Also what color BG should I go with?

i like your setup. what sword is the angel pointing to in the back right?

I would think some larger crypts would look nice there. I would go with a black back ground.

Thank you-the lfs said it was amazon sword...looks kinda like melon sword to me...

It is a Sword (echinodorus species). For a middle plant try a Java Fern.
