will plant food work? trying to feed 2 baby ottos, an algea eater and a medim pleco

bright lights, and dont clean up as well as you usually do.

plant food cant hurt either, but the lights well help more than anything else

Or you could just feed your fish algae wafers and veggies...

yeah just use veggies and wafers as once you get the algae to grow your eaters might not clear it up and then you may be stuck with a green tank.

yeah really, use algae wafers.
most people are trying to figure out how to get the algae to stop growing. =)
Besides, if you tried to grow algae you'd just wind up culturing mutliple types , most that plecos, ottos and algae eaters won't eat.

MY newly aquired pleco has done an amzing job at doing what I should be doing, cleaning. Of course now I am stuck in that he has done such a good job, there is seemingly nothing left for him to eat! I guess it looks like I will be stuck with the wafers or veggies solution. The "grow" bulb, which does a good job at producing algae, isnt working up to snuff, or the pleco's still doing an amazing job!
