is their a type of cory or other symilar catfish that has blue highlights,
the tank im setting up now has a setup with fish that have blue highlights(neon tetras, german blue rams, neon blue dwarf gouramis.
 
Hard to say, Corydoras usually aren't quite that colorful.

If you're looking for some color, you could try some sort of Loach (Kuhli, YoYo, etc...)
