I was scared because I had been out shopping, and when I got home; there was a package sitting on my porch...But then I remembered how redkahuna had packed another shipment to me...
I picked up the well sealed box went into the fish room and ...opened it....
there they all were...double sealed...well insulated....happy as could be....
not a drop of water to be found anywhere outside of the bags....

Once again thank you kind sir, the fish are beautiful, and today you made the most important person in my world very happy....my grand-daughter...she is singing I have 24 cory cory dory catfishies......and doing a little cat fish dance (she is only 3)

The coreis are great and her and I are looking them up and learning their proper names.....tho..she did shorten one to cory melly melon!

I am overwelmed if thats the way you spell it. I just want my friends / customers cant just be one to enjoy there fish. I try hard to raise good quality fish at a fair price. There are to many importers just selling stuff. I am trying to import more of my own breed them and sell them. This will reduce the impact I/we have on the planet while enjoying our wonderful companions. That way Deans grandaughter, my grandson, your child will have more to look forward to. I would like to add on that i am SUPER impressed with these fish.. I was, quite literally, expecting tiny babies at this price.. I wasn't expecting all 12 to be alive.. and I am amazed, they are healthy, happy, good sized, colorful, cories.. the packaging was amazing just as was already mentioned, double bagged laying flat to leave swimming room.. heatpack.. the whole nine yards, thanks a bunch for these fishys =)

received mine today and can't be happier. packing is truely impressive; foam insulated box, heat pack and oxygen-injected for all fish bags, all 14 of them! Fish were double bagged and no doa and they all look healthy. better yet, most of the them are larger than 1" as advertised! Thanks a lot!

I got mine later yesterday, but extremely well packed (minus the duckweed! ;) )

I've never seen babies before, but they acclimated very well and after about 2 hours I relaesed them into their temporary home. These will eventually all go into my 90G! :)

thks Steve - I received my dozen albino corys around lunch time wed. yesterday as you promised. they came thru fine I am so pleased - you use a warming pack which was kool. they are so adorable, these are my favorite cats, especially baby size. can u tell me about how old are they? I have 2 very large fat ones - how can I figure out their gender? to see them swimming all together is great. they already have full bellies eating flake food. but had to remove lg bloodfins & a betta since they made attempts at pecking at them. otherwise so far so good, this will be 1st overniter! can't wait to wake up to them. thks again so much.

*shrug* I didn't do any of the things you're "supposed" to do to get cories to spawn, they just did. There are 4 aeneus cories from redkahuna (it was one of the albinos & one of the greens that spawned), they're in with 3 peppered cories and 12 danios.

I have a whole seperate thread about what to do with the eggs (I'm learning too!) if you check in the catfish section. :)

When looking down on the fish Males look like speed boats and females like trawlers, others actually look different between sexes. The aeneus cories are very easy to bredand mine readily do in the community tanks.

I pretty much have gotten rid of all others I have a swordtail guppy I am playing with and a Pintail Platy. I am also trying to breed some loaches. But the bulk are cories and I change them around also.

The pygmy cories I breed are habrosous. I just pulled down the tank and yes I do have some.

They will even spawn together if the right sexes. Still have albinos and bronze/green left.

How many did you get hard to believe one is not a female. I have some older ones that I can sex and send you females.

I have 3 bronzes and one albino. The three chase the albino around but it doesn't look like a female to me and is not interested in the boys at all. I am pretty sure they are all aeneus.

Is aeneus the only species you sell that you'd recommend for a community tank that stays at 80F mid-spring thru mid-autumn? (room temperature unfortunately- I have a heater that is set to 76F that almost never comes on)

I really want some Peppers and intended to get 6 Peppers and 6 Aeneus (once cycling completes) - but I've read that peppers really don't like the heat.

Are there any speckled varieties that take 80F? Any that you sell- if not available at the moment, that is OK- I'm not even ready yet- and even if I'm ready before they are I'll wait for them! ;)

(preferably an inexpensive speckled kind... I'm starting from scratch and trying not to overspend... how much are Sterbai, and do you sell them ever?)
