compatibility in my 55?

I currently have three red zebras and two yellow tailed violet cichlids in a 29G tank. Well, they got a little big and I just bought a 55G tank and when it gets done cycling (almost there :) ) I will put my fishies in there.

My question for you is what other kinds of cichlids can I add to a 55G tank with the current cichlids I have? How many different species do you recomend? I'm confused on what to get. :confused:

you could get more of the same. im not sure exactly what you have.

do you know are they haps or mbunas?



make sure you have you get the same type as you already have, and the same size.

I'm not sure what you mean by "yellow tialed violet" cichlids.
Are those some kind of Peacocks?

The species name for the yellow tailed violet cichlid is Gephyrochromis moorii (or pseudochromis moorii). They are from Lake Malawi if that helps anybody.
