brownish/red tux-tailed pests all over!

I have tiny brownish red colored pests on the glass of my aquarium as well as on the rock and in the sand they have taken over everything!!!
They seem to have a tail like a tux (with two points) and they don't seem to like the power head they can't hold on in any current. I can use a turkey baster to clear them off but they come back
Does anyone know what these are and/or how to get rid of them?

From your description they sound like a 'flatworm' (actually planarian)-check out this link and do a search for more pictures of this-from what I've read these are an unwanted pest, and they multiply rapidly. Hopefully these are not your unknown pests.

If they are, Salifert has a product called "Flatworm Exit" that seems to kill them without harming the other residents. Just be sure to siphon out the bodies before they release their toxins.
