hey there ijust got my water tested today and the people said thatthe nitrates were low and would probly be down in a bout a week me deing cycling and all , he said that my water should be fine for some small crabs or snails, so excitedly i baught 4 blue legged hermits and two turbo snails

now i know that the snails eat algea but do i need to be feeding anything else for the hermits? they seemed to be eaten fine with all this brown stuff on my sand

(75 gal)
(10lbs live rock)
(cycling for 3 weeks)

normally, the crabs/snails (cleanup crew) are there to clean up the waste/extra food left by the fish. In a 75gallon tank, your crabs should be fine since you only have 4. I would advise getting a bit more live rock though.

Be very extra carefull when acclimating your snails. When I first started I had a hard time keeping my snails alive. But seems after I learned to acclimate them extremely slowly I had much better luck.
