This was a combination of a slower film speed, selective aperature opening and shutter speed...along with the additional fill light. Complicated formula with pretty cool results.

Take note of the slight color variation of the fins. The flash brings out more of the blues...the fill buries some of the shadows.

Ok... is he actually in water for the picture? If so, it looks amazingly clear!! Fantastic pictures!

I've never seen a Dovii before. Now I'm curious to learn more about them.
