what can you guys tell me about this plant ? i know its a crypt? it shoul do well in low light right?

Yes. There are a few Crypts that need a bit more light, but Lutea is not one of them.

I got crypt lutea in a little pot from a mega store and separated the plant bits into 3 stands, each about 3 inches apart. they were small and I thought they might stay that way.

A year later, the lutea is arched across the 29 gallon, from back to front, brushing the surface, with 18 inch long leaves, green and brown olive colored, about 1 inch wide. Each stand has spread but not too much, mostly just thickened to 2.5 diameter, some runners, but not taking over or anything.

I have it in a tank with pH of 7.6 very slow CO2 additions, and 1.8 wpg from an AHS 55 watt CF.

yeah i've noticed mine already ready growing upward n outward n it's only been month!!!
i want more its nice looking
