what is the lowest watts per gallon any of you have grown HC in or have seen it grown in?

lowest i've seen was a almost 2wpg and it didnt look too good.

yeah it needs 2.5+ and co2 to grow ok, 3wpg+ is best for it
depends on the tank size to in a 5g it will grow fine with 2wpg but in a 55 or more 2.5wpg it wont do great

1.5wpg with T5HO or 2wpg with T8, looks fine just very slow gowing.
Don't try to grow it without CO2 and ferts.

how tall was this tank what kind of lighting did it have t8? t5? pc? mh?

it was dual 54w t5s over 55g's. 1.96 wpg.
