HI

I currently have 2 120G FW tanks and am in the process of design/building a 400G Plywood tank 6' X 3' X 3' for FW game fish. My next project in 2 years will be an 8,000 concrete and glass tank.

I would like to talk with others who have done this and also about the design and maintenance of the filtering systems.

Thanks
John Lange

Sounds nice... Wish I had the room... common power ball!

Anyway, do a search in this forum for 'big tank' or '1700 gallon' and a link will be found for a tank a guy built in his basement...

But other than that, a google search may be in order.

Try looking up indoor ponds as well, as there may be information that is interchangeable between the two.

Here's a monster 400 g, diy tank.

Whats interesting about this project, it had a inground thermal mass, which used a backhoe to dig it out. Don't see that everyday.

COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL COOL

I especially like the Shark Tank. Man is my head spinning. I can build that... 1700 Gallons of water, I could make a cool lake with that.

The outside tank was different, hard to imagine when it's 0 degrees outside!

THANKS!!!
