Ok so i got back to school today and i noticed that my mollys had a fry...my 2 gallon is back at home so i dont have a place to put it, should i put it in a mug and change the water all day?
Try adding a pile of hiding places. Bushy plants (real or fake) are a big help. Don't worry too much, if you lose this one, there will be hundreds more.
sorry bout that double take it wouldnt be a beer mug, i have an insolated coffee mug that holds a fair amount of water in it. oh well i will just try the cover technique.
The best way to keep baby fish from getting eaten is to grow them fast. The best way to do that is to keep them in a stable, clean environment, which is really hard to do in a 2 gallon. It may be possible to do it in the 2, but it depends on how stable the room temp is and how you plan to keep it clean.
