i am looking for 2 fish.
1 to be the main display type fish (pretty one)
and the other i wanted like a goby or something with personality
this is eventully going to be a reef tank.(cycling now)and will move slowly through the process.
i had my heart set on a pygmy angely (centropyge argi)
but unless someone tells me it should be ok to add....
keep in mind it is a 55g 100lbs LR and i do have 4 bl/gr chromis
doin my dirty work right now
so any suggestions as to which two fish that would work?

Pygmy angels will always be hit or miss in reef setups. They can be nippy--which means you have to monitor introduced corals for 2-3 days to make sure it's not being attacked. Some angels are very well behaved, though, and make model citizens. I have a lovely bi-color in my reef, and he's only ever nipped yellow polyps. All other corals (and other polyp types) are left alone.

For a goby--there are tons of realy attractive ones that will be fine. I would avoid the convict blenny/engineer goby--same fish, different names, neither one accurate. This fish is very attrative, and entertaining, but digs tunnels under rock, and can collapse your rock work.

so a pygmy isnt out of the question.
it is just a proceed with caution type thing huh.

Yep. They are charming fish, and I wouldn't have a reef without one--you just have to know the risks.
