So i posted a while back that i had a fry, well it has been missing for about a day now, and i figured that it had died. i decided to check the filter and sure enough there it was swimming between the wall and the carbon filter!!! Man now i hafta figure how to get it out!!!!
To prevent this in the future try cutting up a sponge and sticking it in the intake tube of the filter.

thanks, will that make my filter slow down?
It should slow things down a bit, probably not a great amount, you will have to see. It will also act as a pre filter, catching big debris and housing more bacteria on it.

so just shove it into the intake? my intake is about an inch long, should i completely fill it with sponge?

well the fry acctually made it, and now enjoys his very own 2 gallon. my dad and i rigged a heater in there also so he has a complete tank!
