View Full Version : FS gauging interest on Coralife light

Would anybody be interested in buying a Coralife double strip light? the specs for it are it's 24 inches long, has a brand new 6700k bulb and a 4 month used 10,000k bulb. It's one of those lunar light ones so it came with an actinic bulb and your free to have it if I can find it :confused:Total watts is at 130. The reason I'm asking is because the light is wayyyyy too powerful for my 30 gallon and algae is getting way out of hand. The light cost me $180 but I'm willing to sell it for $70. Just seeing if anyone can tell me if people would buy it.

How do you think it would work on a 46 gallon bowfront?
The 46 bow is too long. The two bulbs would light the center if placed on glass tops. The sides would not be evenly lit. A 36 inch fixture would be a better fit.
