Ich and i dunno what else

I have a 10 gallon tank that recently had 2 sun kissed gourami's and 1 blue dwarf gourami. Unfortunately there has been some ich and i'm not sure if anything else that has killed my dwarf gourami and one of the sun kissed gouramis. I've tried treating the ich and i have one fish left, not sure if he'll make it, he's not eating. but is there anything else that could be causing all this? i did scrape all of the algae out of the inside of my tank, could it be starting a cycle of some sort? i guess i'm kinda lost on everything. anyone that wants to give me some help i'd really appreciate it, thanks.

Scrape the algae?

How about raising the temp of the tank to 80 - 82 degrees and adding the maximum dose of aquarium salt to the tank for starters? There is also a huge variety of medications available that are quite effective.
 
Sounds like the medicine is affecting them negatively. What did you use and did you follow the instructions exactly? What are your water parameters? The algae had nothing to do with it, so you can stop worrying about that part at least. Is it the ich that killed them? i guess I'm a little confused.

Fish with ich oftne lose appetite. its important to make sure they eat as much as possible to keep their defenses up. try feeding special treats like frozen bloodworms, live brine shrimp, fry of some sort, etc. Also, if you have some garlic or garlic juice (you know, from those jars of minced garlic) put some on the food (if you dont ahve juice, rub some whole garlic on the food)- its known to help stimulate an appetite and makes the food more appealing to the fish.
