sick betta :(

because of a recent problem in my tank i moved a betta to a double betta hex by himself he looked fine until recently

now he is turning white from his tail up, he has white spots about the size of dust on him and he cant swim ood at all, he also has what looks like skin:confused: hanging off him
some one help :( :( :( :(

White spots is probably ich. Do a search, you'll get hundreds of hits. Skin falling off and white patches indicates a fungus to me. Look up the symptoms of a fungal infection. I'd add some salt and melafix asap...meantime, figure out exactly what you have and begin medicating.

Also, what was your recent problem? It may very well be connected to this problem.

And, does the new tank have a heater? What temp is it?

he died last night :( :( , half his skin was hanging off and he was completely
white
i also have about a centimeter long baby female shortail betta it has had no problems in its double betta hex, and it came from a cup from the store so thats y i think it was moving him from tank to the betta hex.
