Stocking a 29 gal tank

I am looking for good tank mates for my bronze cory and apple snails.

I was thinking about adding some mollys or platies. I am going to add up to 6 more cory.

I haven't bought any fish yet, but would like opinions.

I have a few places for the fish to hide. I am also looking to adding some live plants.

Any help would be great.

Platies are usually easier to maintain than mollies. Lots of colors to choose from, all mix.

I would also get some more bronze cories--they tend to do better in a group than solo.

Otherwise, hmm... I like kuhli loaches. A school of cherry barbs would look nice, or go with some tetras.
