Would it be possible to add some ghost or amano shrimp to my tank? I have a 55 gallon tank with 5 angelfish. I thought I read somewhere that I could have them so long as they had plenty of places to hide. I just don't want anything that will attack my angels.

They won't attack your angels- they might end up as lunch, though.
I keep ghost shrimp with Discus. They serve as excellent scavengers until the Discus get larger- then they serve as an excellent snack.
But at the cost that ghost shrimps come, that should be ok... :D
Amano shrimps are another story though...

Went to the store to buy some... sold out :( The LFS is practically sold out of everything! I guess because of the holidays... Hopefully they get more in soon!
