Happy Holidays!
Hope everyone got some cool suff over Christmas! I got some CASH so it'll be fun to make some new changes that I've been wanting in my saltwater tank. Plus my B-day is in Feb. and I expect more $$$ so I'm going to keep saving and do some major remodeling.
Anyway, I feed both Green and Red dried sea weed in my tank (among other things) and I wanted to see if anyone had any better feeding solutions. I've tried placing the whole sheet in a plastic clip and suctioning it to the side or laying it on the bottom of the tank. This proves futile though as shortly there after my Butterfly usually ends up pulling the entire sheet free from the clip and it floats around the top of the tank. I have also tried tearing the sheet into thin lines and clipping them together in the clip. This works a little better but again, eventually the Butterfly or an Emerald crab manage to pull the thin pieces from the clip and they float around the top of the tank. Should the sea weed be fed at the top of the tank or should I continue to try to anchor it towards the bottom? How does everyone here feed this?
Maybe I'll try suctioning the sea weed to something at the top so it doesn't float all over the tank ... what to do!
