help--need to id worms brought in on new plants

Just brought home some water sprite to add to a 20g with a cycled filter. Wanted to add 4 new guppies I bought at the same time (different tank)
I can see 1/4" worms wiggling and swimming back up to the plants--they were disturbed by the filter.
Are they parasites? Can I add the guppies tonight, or do I need to treat the tank now?

could be... could be harmless... did you go out and collect this plant out of the wild? if it is I would worry more about the things you can't see ie diseases that might be introduced to the tank by these plants

a 1 part bleach to 19 parts water several second dunk bath would kill most things that might be on the plants... just be sure to dip them in water that has lots of declorinator afterwards

I already added the plants to the tank--too late to dip.
They are from the same store I got the guppies from, but a different tank.
