I would more-so call that a peaceful tank. Semi-agressive would be something more along the lines of a paradise fish, which could harm most of those fish more than they could harm it.

As for peaceful cichlids, there are very many options.

Rams
Kribs
Apistos
Angels

Here's a site with some good information on rams: http://www.amateurcichlids.com/fish/german_ram.shtml

Here's another on A. cacatoides: http://www.gcca.net/index.htm?content=/fom/Apistogramma_cacatoides.htm

Most of these species have a ton of information of the web too, so don't be afraid to google.

i know it is more of a peacefull tank but i wasnt sure how to classify it
i really like those blue german rams i've never kept cichlids before except angels so i am nervous because of their rep but everything seems t point to this type as being peacefull so i guess they wont nip or hurt or kill my other fish! i know my local lfs sells these for about 30 pair might have to invest in them

If you want something that gets a little bigger than try Green and Gold Severums. I would have recommended Uaru, but they get a little big for a 55.

lets not forget keyholes. **** fine cichlid, keyholes and often overlooked.
