hey guys,
well i crushed up flake food into a dust and out it in the tank and stired it around abit so it sank so the fry could eat it but they wouldnt?
they are only 1 day old? is this to young for them to start eating?
any ideas?

They are probably eating when your not looking,When fish are that young sometimes you can really see then eating.They eat very small partials in the water,some fish actually eat the parents slime coat.Give it a few days they will eat when they are hungry.You will see .Also they need to get use to finding the food that is if they are in a large tank.I find it good have them born
in a small tank and this way it is easier for them to get the food.If not I let them be born in a large tank and keep some floating plants in there so they hang around the plants and then the food will be place near the plants.This works for me.They need to get use to food.Think of it as if you were drinking juice all your life and now someone gives you a sandwich.Does that make any sense?You can try the liquid food that works too.Hope I made sense.Keep us updated and congratulations on your new addition to your family!Good luck with them
