you know the ones that you throw a fish in to carry it from the tank to the baggin station, we only have one medium sized one, and everyone fights for it. thanks!

I don't know but that sounds like a bang up idea. A portable fish container for getting it from the store to home sounds a lot better than the baggie!

I have not seen one of those "carriers", but a small bucket with a lid, and even a battery powered air stone might work better than plastic baggies. The last few times I tried to get some catfish home safe and not stressed didn't work... Now, the bucket method couldn't hurt I guess.

In the past I actually had Otos crushed by the corner of the baggie before getting to the check-out counter.. :(

This is an earth shattering idea if you don't live around the corner from the fish store.

Mrs. D, I think I will get one of those before my next fish purchase.

you can probably get them from aquatic eco systems. and big als has a couple differnt kinds, go check under isolation units. i saw one that looks like a square pitcher that you use to trap the fish then you turn it over and close it. i bet you can borrow ;) some of the ones you want off walmart.
