I'm not familiar with the "Red Hump". They look cool though! Do they get to typical 6" Geo size?

my female is 4" and the male is 3".
this article suggests the female is full grown and the male will hit 5"

it is better she is bigger than he is. males can get aggressive in
courtship. i think there is enuff activity in the tank to keep him preoccupied with holding ground so he wont waste time harrassing his woman.

Congrats, I had two pair that were constantly breeding, so I finally had to get rid of them!!

Yes, the male can aggressive and I had the best luck separating the female after she was holding, otherwise, she would often eat the eggs/fry herself.

red humps are my favorite of the geos. hardly anything on them on the net. my male is about 7" his in sydney with my aunty. next time i got up ill take a few pis for you
