I went to Home Depot and saw "Aquarium Silicone" by DAP, and it was more expensive than the 100% clear silicone. I guess the silicone makers realize that some people are foolish enough to pay more money for the word "Aquarium";)
I noticed the same thing at a local Ace Hardware. Both products were right next to each other and had similar packaging, except for the large "Aquarium" print. I dont remember the cost difference, but I think the 'aquarium' one was about half again as much as the regular 100% tube.

Be careful with silicone. A lot of the standard non-fish tank stuff is intended for caulking. There is an anti-mildew additive that is moderately toxic. Most fish can handle it, but some cannot, and it is going to stress those fish that it doesn't kill. The anti-fungus/mildew additive will definitely kill invertebrates in sw aquariums. Check the lable. If it says "not for aquarium use" take their word for it.

Ive seen that same thing... There were some that definitely stated "Not for aquarium use", but others that were 100% silicone didnt. I bought the "Aquarium sealant" stuff just to be sure.
