View Full Version : I bought two Gouramis today and noticed, Help?

I bought two Gouramis today and noticed when I got home and had them in my tank, that one female has her feeler fin half gone. Will this hurt her? Will it grow back, should I take her back. Right now they are scared and hiding . Thanks for any help.

She'll be fine and that feeler will grow back like all fins do on healthy fish in clean water.

from time to time a feeler fin will vanish for some reason - one of mine had the feeler fin thin out split n then half of it was gone but it is already growing back - as long as there is no fungus or anything on it - it will be ok! may have gotten nipped in the tank at the store what was it living with?
