hi,
this might seem like a silly questions but i was wondering if besides overheating from the sun and animals eating the fish is their any significant harm posed to fish by keeping them out site in a large rubbermaid stocktank in the summer? i was worried about parasites and disiease mostly.

thanks a bunch

I suppose that rain runoff could put stuff in there that is bad for the fish, or maybe even the rain itself could change the chemistry of the water enough to harm them.

The Puregold website says that fish that have been in the pond should be salt dipped to treat for parasites when coming in from the pond.

so besides ph swings does the acid rain affect the fish at all, poisonous?

do the parasites come from bugs that get in the water?
