Everyday I have to check my CO2 cause my BPS drops down to the point where my drop checker turns blue. I have red sea regulator and a red sea bubble counter. I had no issues until I went from a 5 lb container to a 20lb I have checked for leaks and I have none. Can someone please help me.

Open the reg more and use the needle valve to adjust the flow. That will help to keep the pressure behind the valve (and therefore the flow of gas) constant.

??? how can constant pressure result in varrying flows?

When you notice the flow decrease, how do you then adjust it again?

That's wild. I wonder if your regulator pressure valves are functioning properly?

If you turn off the gas on the main tank valve, does the pressure on the guage drop?

I just checked mine. I have two tanks with reactors connected to canister filters and have both up at over 2 ATMs, or about 35 PSI, to get a steady bubble count.

What if you have just about 1 ATM of back pressure from your difusion method (how are you diffusing the CO2 into the tank? reactor, ceramic disk diffuser?) Lets say you have exactly 1 ATM of back pressure, at just under 1ATM there would not be enough pressure to force the air through, but anything over would flow freely?

I don't understand this bar regulator you got going on, but generally, if you have fluctionations you need to turn it up. The rate is affected by room temp. the higher up you turn the regulator, the less this actually affects the output. If you're at '1 bar' I would increase it to "2 bars" and see if this fixes the problem.

this is good information.

My Co2 would fluctuate, I had my pressure at 10psi.
I increased the pressure to about 25 psi, and had no more issues with fluctuation.

Adjust your regulator for more pressure, and turn it down with the needle valve.
