....what would it be? Keep it to a present day animal, nothing extinct and post a pic of it if you can. :)

For me, I've always wanted to keep a Perentie Monitor Lizard (Varanus giganteus) but I doubt that will ever happen seeing how they can't be exported from Australia.

Aladabra tortoises. I live in too cold a climate.

^ If I lived some place warm I would have all kinds of tortoises outdoors too. :)

I think it would be cool to keep one of the Chinese Giant Salamander (Andrias davidianus) .Being a endangered species I highly doubt it ,but still just think of the little girl screams from your 6'4" buddies, everytime you feed it in front of them. :D

^ Yeah those things are nuts! We have Hellbenders in the rivers around where I live but the Asian species is even bigger and bulkier.

Gray Tree frog, Reed frog,Wood frog, Red Eye Tree frogs or Blue/Eastern Tailed Skink.

I had 6 Grays in a 90G, but then had to re-home them, they were awesome, just too cute!

Reeds are tiny and come in tons of colors and patterns.

Oh, if I lived in a warm enough climate I would have ALL kinds of torts outside too :) I put mine out in the summer, but they only get about 4 months out. Try keeping a Sulcata indoors 8 months of the year!!! Not fun! Now imagine an Aladabra...

I second those Salamanders too, those things are wicked awesome. I would settle for a Hellbender, heck, I have always wanted to see one.

I'v always wanted australian snakenecked turtles...no real reason I couldn't get one I guess except for money and space. I'd also love to have a fly river turtle but I don't think there's any way I'll ever have the space.
