Fly Rivers have been growing on me over the years. There's one at a pet shop near me (not for sale) and it's just so darn cool to watch it swim around in it's tank. About the closest thing you could ever own to a sea turtle.

The list of what I want -- that I can, legally own if/when I make the space and time, -- is so long that I've not taken the time to think about what I might want that I'd never be able to own. It's not a herp, but I'd love to own a weta some day. Far as I know, they're illegal to export from New Zealand and not for sale in the U.S. Mundane as it sounds, I'd love to own iguanas again, but I haven't the time or space at present.
^ You're totally fired. That's not even close to being a reptile but Wetas are awesome looking bugs! I would totally keep one too if we were allowed.
I would have said a water monitor, but after seeing this thread I had to change my mind to Perentie Monitor Lizard. I have never seen those before and they look so cool!
