Where to find an adapter to fit a needle valve to a regulator (a 10/32?)

I have a regular "oxygen" regulator that I want to hook up to a CO2 tank for a CO2 system. I've been using this regulator for years on a spare CO2 tank I'm using to fill up basketballs and tires and such and it works just fine.

I would like to now get a needle valve for this regulator so I can run a CO2 system on it (standard needle valve).

I've seen online that some folks are using a "10/32" adapter to thread into the regulator, to which the needle valve would thread into.

I have no idea where to find this

Any advice?

You could get a needle/metering valve that has 1/8" NPT connections instead and then thread directly into the regulator (probably has 1/4" NPT ports) with a 1/4" to 1/8" reducing nipple (if valve has female connections) or adapter (if valve has male connections).

I have heard that 10/32" connections are very weak and have a tendency to break when used as you described. Needle valves with 10/32 connections are recommended to be used with barbs and connected inline with flexible tubing instead of threading directly into the regulator.

Actually after looking at this, I think the regulator has 1/2" NPT tapped into it. It's definitely bigger than what is on the other CO2 regulator's tapped holes (I have a second regulator that's a true CO2 regulator to compare it to).

The needle valve already has, apparently, the 10-32 adapter (which is how it fit the true CO2 regulator I robbed it off of).

So what I need is perhaps an adapter for the 1/8 into the bigger hole on the Oxygen regulator.

What are brands/models of the 2 regulators that you have?

1/2" NPT is almost an inch in diameter...maybe it's 1/4" NPT? Or is it just a really big regulator?

should be able to find the adapter at a hardware store, plumbing supply or welding supply.
