Great pictures.
Everytime I sit back and wonder why I got into cichlids (tank busters) in the first place I always see pictures like your second one or like some of the pictures that Mo posts and scream out "THAT'S WHY!!!" tank busters rule.

He's almost 14" long. About a 1/2' shy.

His tank mates are a pike cichlid, texas Blue and two JD's. Sounds like over crouding but they all get along real well (so far). I have plenty filtration and haven't had any water problems. Trying to get another tank so I can move the JD's.
