upside down cherry barb

hi had 3 cherry barbs in a tank and on the course of today and yesterday, i found them all dead. but the thing that is confusing me is that they were all floating upside down at a perfectly straight angle, but they weren't floating at the top of the water like most fish do they were either right at the bottom on floating mid way why is that i'm baffled.

there is a lot you could have done. Were they the first fish in your tank, if so, how did you cycle the aquarium? how often do you change the water? do you test the water? It could have been anything from ammonia to ph.

also, lots of fish don't go belly up. Many fish find their resting place on the bottom of the tank, it has to do with the swim bladder I think, but I'm not sure.

no did every thing, i have a 2ft trop kept for years, just wondereed why they where like that most fish either float sideways or sink sideways just seem funny how they where,thanks anyway
