what fish are compatable to arowana

I recently upgraded my tank from a 35 gallon tank to an 55 gallon tank and I want to purchase an arowana, but I do not know what type of fish I should have with it. Does anyone have any sugestions?

You are aware you posted this question in the Marine forum, don't you? Last I checked, Arrowanas were FW fish I believe. Just making sure :D !

they are fresh water fish - wierd ones too. but anyways i think they go well with plecos and other fish that are like them.

i believe they get way too big for a 55. i'd imagine there are multiple species, but this one (http://fish.orbust.net/silverarowana.html) gets to 36"!!!!

And by the way, Arrowanas do need HUGE tanks eventually!
