I entered this without the education I needed. I have the above mentioned anemone. It seems to be doing fairly well and a clown is hosting in it which seems contrary to what I should have suspected from this type of anemone. My question/comment is that it shrinks to about the size of a quarter during the night if the light is off, and spends half the morning "waking up" and expanding its' tentacles. it's quite interesting. I haven't found any info regarding this. Thanks for helping a newbie.

Pretty normal behavior. Condy's are some of the hardier anenomes out there, and captive bred clown will sometimes host in them. Still not recommended, but not quite the disaster some other ones can be.

Make sure you feed it regularly, and have adequate lights. It should do okay for you, especially since you are willing to make the effort to help it.
