So I have decided that I want to plant more of my tanks, but first I need to know what plants I have. I have red ludwegia, java fern, java moss and I cannot figure out these last three.

The first plant is really small right now. All of it's longer leaves died off and now there are a bunch of new smaller ones. I think it was some kind of crypt.

The next plant I bought from an assorted plant tank. The one stem is growing fast and will soon grow out of the tank. I am thinking of maybe cutting the stem in half? And planting the other half in another one of my tanks. I have no idea what it is.

The last plant is very big. I think the leaves would be out of the water if they grew straight up. I bought it from somebody who was moving.

Those plants are so tattered its hard to tell. Last one looks like aponogeton crispus though.

Here are some more shots of the second. The one stem is growing very fast and is 1-2" from the surface of my 29g. I am not sure if I could just pinch off the stem halfway or not.

I know that one is doing okay with one fluorescent bulb, but I am not sure if the other two need more light or not.

How many assassins do you have in there? Nice set up. The first pic and 3rd I think are some kind of Aponogetons.

I have no idea what that plant is but I do think you can cut it and propagate them from cuttings.

The first plant looks similar to my crypt that I purchased as Crypt Tropica. I have some baby plants of it and they look just like that.

I think I will just try pinching the stem like with ludwegia.

I had three assassin snails in there and they decimated the snail population in like a week. Now I have two in there and moved the third to another tank and I plan on obtaining some Malaysian trumpets and then moving all the assassin snails to their own tank.

1) First plant is a crpyt. Not sure which one. Maybe Lucens, but not sure.
2) 2nd pant is a little too tattered to tell. Let it grow some first. It is not hygro.
3) the last plant is an apono. It does look like crispus.
