Hi;
I bought a regal angel here in manila philippines and he is doing fine but the problem is he is very picky in food he almost rejects evrything i put (nori, pellets) but the other fish like damsel, coral beauty and trigger has no problem at all, is there a special food for these kind of fish, i bought a book and says that regal angels are hard to feed, what other food i can give him except nori and pellets? by the way he is 3 days now and doesn't seem to eat though he might pick a couple of bites on nori but after that leaves the food alone..he is also in good condition and no disease and parasites.

thanks;

To entice your Regal Angelfish to eat, use a diet of fresh shrimp and chopped seafood. The diet should also include herbivore preparations which include Spirulina and marine algae, and angelfish preparations containing sponges.

Tried fresh sponge. These fish ARE hard to feed, that's why most die quickly. This is a terrible choice for a beginner.

my regal angel is ok now, he ates pellets and nori, but also bought some angel formula for him, and he is very active, he is small though, about the size of a medium size domino..i was planning on returning him back to the petstore wher i bought him but he eats now so i think i will keep him...thanks
