Does anyone else have these guy? I found mine out this morning and he was half buried and he really didnt fight me when i picked him up, just tried to burrow into my hands...is this normal? I hear they are very laid back

Him not "fighting" you may be a cause for concern. But yes, they are pretty mellow and will burrow in the substrate to hide.

Awesome little guys I must say!

Is yours solid or two toned?

as far as i can tell he is solid...he didnt fight me until he realized he was up out of the sand i might have caught him asleep...now hes "hiding" in the sand under the leaves of one of my plants

That's totally normal. My two guys are always buried, and I will reach in to the sand to find them and check on them. Sometimes they squirm, sometimes they don't. Very laid back and chill. When I had rocks, they burrowed under those, and it was so hard to see them when doing the gravel vacs.

sweetness...i think i am going to go get another one sometime this week...He seems to keep my single horse-faced loach company, since they are both nocturnal sand-burrowers and i see them together a lot

im jealous! I want a school of em haha

They're actually social fish, and are found in large schools in the wild. You don't see them because they're nocturnal, but a moonlight on the tank and some food would show them up quite well after lights have been off for a while.
