plant ID help please...

I was given some trimmings of ludwigia and tiger lotus earlier today.....

It also came with two of these......



Does anyone know what they are?

He said it was extras from what someone had given him....

described as Rotala, Ludwigia, and lotus, I didnt see any Rotala in the bunch. Plenty of red tiger and ludwigia. I am familar with Apple snail eggs. They are more pink than this. I just thought it was a seed cluster of some sort. If they are apple snail eggs they wont hatch once they are under water. I used to feed the eggs to my GT. I didn't notice them in the bag til I got home with them.
